This week has been super busy so I have quite a few pictures to share!
This week I spent a few days at Sizzix HQ in Wrexham. As you can see my car has done a fair bit of mileage! Sometimes I wonder who will break first, the car or me!
Sizzix HQ was a hive of activity this week as we are off to Frankfurt for the Creative World Trade Show next weekend and all the projects had to be packed and put on pallets. Here is a little peak of a blackboard I decorated. Who knows how many flowers are on it but I really enjoyed this project.
The super talented Mr.Hughs! I never come away from a few days work with Pete without learning about a million new techniques. The projects he has been working on are amazing. Just wait until you see them! I think this was his surprised face!
More flowers! These are the Sunflowers in the Chapter 1 launch. I used these to decorate a lantern, again I had such good fun with these. There is something therapeutic about making paper flowers.
Jude is currently learning his times tables and this method of having an actual item to visualise works so well for him. This week we used wooden lady birds for the 4 times table.
Ok so this is a bit gross … but who knew this is what a grommet looked like? Jude had grommets fitted at the end of 2016 and this week one fell out of his ear!
The prep for Creative World continued all week and will carry on for all of next week too. Here are some cut cactus stamps which also come with dies. I do love a bit of colouring in.
Finally at the weekend I managed to squeeze in some time to get my hair coloured and cut. Each month I have a keratin treatment put on as I have the most frizzy, coarse hair. I also went for a bit of a change and had some ombre effects added.
